During the winter, Casual Water offers its yearly preventative maintenance program. The following services are designed to ensure the longevity of your pool and to prevent any problems that may occur at Summerization.

Our Winter Services include:

Filter Degreasing

This service is only necessary for those customers who have a modular media filter. We will remove the cartridge elements during the off-season and take them back to our shop where they are first soaked in a degreasing detergent overnight. The cartridges are then pressure washed and returned to your home thoroughly cleaned. This service is designed to expedite your Summerization and greatly reduce the chance of your filter failing mid-season.

Winter Watch

Our Winter Watch program is our way of identifying and preventing any potential problems with your pool. Once a month, your pool will be inspected to ensure the following:

  • Cover is secure
  • Padding has not shifted
  • Water is at the correct level
  • Pool equipment has not been damaged

Although the water is pumped down when we initially winterize your pool, regular precipitation will fill the pool back up. Monitoring and lowering the water is vital in reducing possible ice damage to your tiles and pool structure. During our monthly checks we will pump down your pool to the appropriate level as necessary
