CERTIFICATIONS
The owners of TwinForks are the only swimming pool professionals to earn the designation of Certified Green Professional™ from the National Association of Home Builders. This designation recognizes builders, remodelers and other industry professionals who incorporate green building principles into homes— without driving up the cost of construction. Class work leading to the designation provides a solid background in green building methods, as well as the tools to reach consumers, from the organization leading the charge to provide market-driven green building solutions to the home building industry.
TwinForks is a longtime member of the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) -Now the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance- The world’s largest international trade association for the swimming pool, spa, and hot tub industry. As an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited standards developer, APSP works with regulatory and legislative bodies to ensure that their codes, ordinances, and legislation are written to the safest and most current standards.
TwinForks Pools is a member of the Long Island Builders Institute, and works closely with LIBI members. The Long Island Builders Institute, formed in 1941, is an association of building industry professionals who are dedicated to making Long Island a better place to live and work, by creating a balance between the economy, the environment, and development opportunities for all our communities and our residents.
TwinForks Pools works side by side with architects and fellow members of the American Institute of Architects. Based in Washington, D.C., the AIA has been the leading professional membership association for licensed architects, emerging professionals, and allied partners since 1857.
